Following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020, insurers were unable to provide cover for Covid-19 related losses due to the sheer magnitude of the potential claims this was likely to invite.

As such, after the declaration of a worldwide pandemic, specific exclusions for loss of deposits and cancellation costs, additional expenses and repatriation expenses were applied to all travel insurance products.

As Governments roll out Covid-19 vaccination programs and travel restrictions begin to relax, people’s confidence to recommence travel is slowly returning.  Research suggests that travel will return to approximately 80% of pre-pandemic levels soon.  We are already seeing an increase in Church related travel as organisations can resume mission work, itinerant preaching and the ability to connect with their overseas partners.   As travel confidence returns, churches are seeking peace of mind that their people will be protected, and financial loss minimised when travelling.

• Non-refundable flight and accommodation expenses
• Medical expenses
• Additional and/or forfeited expenses
• Emergency evacuation

• Funeral expenses cover
